This Barn is considered: Unique
This stunning barn has it all. It has five bents, and four bays. This fore bay barn also has an 10′ deep ell on both front corners of barn, a rare combination and its massive.
The long beam has a nice patina and is a sight to behold.
The 10′ Ells are the width of first and fourth bays. The bays are roughly 17′, 17′-2″, 19′-6″, and 17′-4″ wide, while the center aisle is 12′ and outer aisles are 14′ wide. Bents 2 & 3 have a double tie that is 2′ from each other. Large 10 x 12 posts are found on both eve wall while the middle gable walls posts and middle interior bent posts are 8 X 10. Eve wall height is roughly 16′ tall. Both upper and lower tie beams are 8 X 8. Both roof purlin plates and rafter plates are 70′ long. Both ladders posts are 4 X 6.
This Barn would make a great wedding hall, home, lodge, etc.
